The most rewarding part of my job is bringing the sparkle back to a smile with our cosmetic dentistry services
Hygienists
We know that to prevent tooth decay and gum disease it is essential to practice good oral hygiene.
A dental hygienist is a professional who has been highly trained to clean people's teeth, give advice on oral hygiene, and apply protective coatings to the teeth (called fissure sealants). By doing these, and other more complex procedures, the dental hygienist can help to prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
Almost everyone should attend the hygenist regularly, particularly smokers, and the frequency of attendance depends on the condition of each individual's gums. The dentist or hygenist can recommend the appropriate recall period for you.
A range of oral hygiene products for home use is available at the reception.
Ursula O'Neill RDN EDH
Ursula qualified as a dental hygienist from Belfast Dental Hospital in 2000 and joined the practice in 2003.
